According to the finished products, continuous casting is divided into slab,square billet, round billet and rectangular billet.

Slab with different width and height and lower ratio of width and height, it is mainly used for rolling plates,whose thickness are 210mm and 230mm and width is from 950mm to 1650mm.

Square Billet with equal or little difference in cross-sectional width and height,it is mainly used for rolling sections and wire rod. And the small billets are from 70mm to 200mm, while the large billets are from 200mm to 450mm.

Rectangular billets with unequal cross-sectional widths and heights and lower ratio of width and height, it is mainly used for rolling hot-rolled strip, construction rebar, ordinary wire rod, high-speed used wire rod and various small wire rods.

Round billet with continuous casting billet with circular cross section, it is mainly divided into pipe billet and forging billet based on its diameter. Diameter below 300mm is mainly pipe billet, which is generally used as raw material for seamless steel pipe. And diameter above 300mm is mostly forging billet, which is generally used as raw material for various forging parts. φ100-φ350
